Letter from the guest editor

I am delighted to serve as guest editor for this issue of Seminars in Ultrasound, CT and MRI. This month, we focus on imaging of the traumatically injured patient. The current issue is presented as a companion to the August 2017 Seminars issue, edited by Dr. Tara M. Catanzano, which focused on non-traumatic imaging in the emergency department.
