The journal year in review

First, I send my very best wishes and Season's Greetings to all of you who have contributed toward the growth and further development of Sleep Medicine. I acknowledge with gratitude the valiant efforts of the reviewers, field, section, and associated editors, the rest of the editorial board members, the contributors and readers as well as the Elsevier publishing staff in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Exeter, England and the editorial assistant in Edison, New Jersey, USA. I am also grateful to Peter Bakker, the Publishing Director of the Journal at Elsevier in Amsterdam who has been very supportive of all my efforts over the years.
