Objectif de l'étudeL'objectif de ce travail était la détermination expérimentale des facteurs de correction kQclinQmsrfclinfmsr de quatre dosimètres actifs de commerce : deux chambres d'ionisation et deux diodes solides sur la base des facteurs d'ouverture du collimateur de radiothérapie mesurés avec un film radiochromique pour un accélérateur linéaire équipé de cônes circulaires.Matériel et méthodesDans un premier temps, un protocole de mesure de la dose par film radiochromique Gafchromic™ EBT3 avec une précision de 2 % a été élaboré pour approcher le « facteur d'ouverture du collimateur de référence ». Par la suite, les facteurs correctifs de quatre détecteurs ont été déterminés pour deux chambres d'ionisation (PinPoint PTW 31016 3D, Micropoint Extradin A16) et deux diodes solides (PTW T60017 Diode, PTW-60019 Micro-Diamond). Ces mesures ont été effectuées sous des collimateurs coniques de BrainLAB® définissant des faisceaux circulaires de diamètres à l'isocentre égaux à 7,5mm, 10mm, 12,5mm, 15mm, 17,5mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm et 45mm d'un faisceau de photons X de 6MV généré par l'accélérateur linéaire ClinaciX (Varian®). Ces facteurs sont faiblement dépendants du type de l'accélérateur que ce soit le modèle ou le type collimation. Cela a permis leurs comparaisons avec ceux publiés pour le même type de détecteur et pour un accélérateur avec le même indice de qualité de faisceau.RésultatsLes valeurs des facteurs correctifs, obtenues expérimentalement ont été comparables dans écart maximum de 1,9 % avec celles publiées des travaux utilisant le même type de détecteur (marque et modèle) et un accélérateur délivrant un faisceau de même indice de qualité pour la même taille de faisceau au point de mesure.ConclusionLe protocole de mesure par le film EBT3 utilisé comme dosimètre passif permettant de déterminer le « facteur d'ouverture du collimateur de référence » a été validé en comparant les données mesurées et publiées des facteurs de correction des détecteurs actifs.PurposeThe aim of this work is to determine experimentally the correction factors kQclinQmsrfclinfmsr for four active commercial dosimeters: two microchambers and two diode detectors based on the output factor measured with radiochromic film for a radiotherapy linear accelerator equipped with circular cones.Materials and methodsInitially, a radiochromic film dosimetry measurement protocol with an accuracy of 2% was developed to approach the "reference output factor". Afterwards, the corrective factors of four detectors were determined for two ionization chambers (PinPoint PTW 31016 3D, Micropoint Extradin A16) and two diodes (PTW T60017 Diode, PTW-60019 Micro-Diamond). These measurements were carried out under conical BrainLAB® collimators defining circular fields with diameters equal to 7.5mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, 15mm, 17.5mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 45mm of a 6MV X-ray beam generated by the ClinaciX linear accelerator (Varian®). These factors are weakly dependent on the type of accelerator, whether the model and the collimation type. This allowed their comparisons with those published for the same type of detector and for an accelerator with the same index of beam quality.ResultsThe correction factors obtained experimentally were comparable in maximum deviation of 1.9% with published ones of the works using the same type of detector (mark and model) and an accelerator delivering the same beam quality for the same field size at the measurement point.ConclusionThe measurement protocol using the EBT3 film, which was used as a passive dosimeter to determine the "reference output factor", was validated by comparing measured and published data of active detector correction factors.
